This year’s annual 4 July weekend course work/meditate was an inspiring time with friends from Texas, Chicago, Minneapolis, Santa Fe, and Albuquerque. Close to fifty people landscaped, dismantled utility closet, dug a trench for well drainage, and framing the upstairs cabin stairwell. Texas brought a large amount of brisket and sausages for our enormous smoker. Skylar smoked the brisket for twelve hours, it made working hard even more pleasurable knowing at the end of the day there would be this juicy tender meat for dinner! We had a few powerful storms that rolled in, lighting struck between us and our neighbors in the field. The land is wet and green not at all a dry summer- the trees look relieved!
